Peppermint Ichigo... now how did i get that name?

93 year olds and the a&p
ok so this was just weird, im standing on my line at the a&p (supermarket chain) that i work at and a customer comes up and it get to the end of his order and he has a couple cases of beer. now at the a&p we have to card everyone no matter how old they look. so when i asked the guy who just happend to be 93, for his id he flippes out on me and starts screaming

"ID!?!?!? WHY DO U NEED TO SEE MY ID?!?!?! IM 93 YEARS OLD CANT U TELL!!! I FOUGHT IN WW2! I FOUGHT FOR UR FREEDOM IF IT WERENT FOR ME WE'D ALL BE EATING SCHNITZAL! AND NOW I COME TO GIVE MY MONEY TO THIS PLACE AND THEY NEED TO SEE ID!!! A VETEREN CANT EVEN GET DRUNK ANYMORE WITH-OUT SOME HIGHSCHOOL BRAT ASKING FOR ID HUH!?!?!"

now this is the first time this has ever happend to me and im tring not to laugh be cause the guys voice was kinda high pitched but like raspy and he had a bit of a hump so as hes going off im standing there thinking to myself "dont laugh, dont laugh, dont laugh, dont laugh," and barely keeping it in and when his speech was finally over i wasnt sure what to say so i just chose the first one that came into my head "ok thank you sir for the history lesson... now if could see ur id i ring u up" which if it hadnt been for his grandson who was with him would have sparked WW3

now ive worked at the a&p for about a month and a half and ill tell u meet weird people at that job
